He also doesnt mention the fact that you cant size the ring either, so when he says it lasts for 20 years when you go from 20 to 40 you better hope your weight and hands stay identical because you cant size tungsten or titanium. Also what happens if you hurt your fingure when this is on and it starts swell up?

Yes, they are man-made, and so is ultrahard fullerite. If we were talking about just natural substances, then yes, plain diamonds are the hardest.

being that is nano does means that is man made am i correct?

A tungsten carbide sword will be useless. Since its too brittle. Swords makers go through a lot of trouble to create somewhat flexible swords by tempering the metal. A tungsten carbide sword would shatter, since it will be too hard and brittle, and it would be very uncomfortable wielding such an inflexible sword.

Tao0161: Actually, diamond is the third hardest substance known to man haha. Aggregated diamond nanorods are the hardest, followed by ultrahard fullerite, and finally diamond. The nanorods are over 12 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, while a pure diamond is a 10.

To "theTeabag": There's some video in the "related" section that tells you how.

Yes tungsten is great , my wedding band is a 10mm tungsten traditional plain band. I just had to buy 2 to put one through my test of hard knocks. I see your point , as a matter of fact now that I think about it , what wouldn't get damaged between a hammer and a concrete floor LOL I think under similar circumstances even a diamond ( hardest substance known to man ) would have shattered. Peace
